...In this place until May 10 we admire the exhibition of painting and photography Gian Domenico Negroni. The exhibition is divided into two rooms. In the first, "Glamor and fashion", photos are exhibited in which, in addition to the enchanting beauty of the models, the protagonist is the light that frames. Of course, light is always a fundamental element for those dealing with the visual arts; of these photos are striking, however, the "games" that the artist has created with light, games that give pulse and vitality to the images. Every part of the body of the model, among other things, evolves as "photography in photography", merging with nature or becoming an architectural element of the represented place. Each pose is spontaneous, ductile, plastic and soft, without rigidity; for this reason, even if wrapped in provocative clothes or in wise balance on vertiginous stilettos, the bodies are elegant and never vulgar. The interesting part, perhaps because closer to the "heart" of the artist, is that which can be admired in the second room. The computer elaboration of some photos makes appear from time to time scenarios that, as in a kaleidoscope, change according to the point of view... so you can see a fiery summer marina, a bluish sailboat, a cat-owl or repeated movements of hands, shadows ... where? And why. Finally, the abstract paintings by Gian Domenico Negroni, who, humbly leaning on the ground, keep unexpected surprises: from the recovery of materials that become part of the canvas, transforming it into a metropolitan landscape, to the feeling, perhaps, of infinity of a desert, up to to that where, perhaps, a pale full moon makes a slow luminous tear fall into a deep ocean...
